This Pentax 28mm f3.5 Super-Takumar is one of the first wide angle lenses that Asahi Pentax made for their Spotmatic system of cameras. The lens is compact and solid and offers a decently wide field of view. It is a great lens for cityscapes, landscapes, travel, group portraits, interior shots or any other situation requiring a wider field of view. It has a maximum aperture of f3.5, so it is a bit on the slow side. The lens is known for decent sharpness and contrast, especially once stopped down to f8.
This lens has a 49mm filter thread.
